"Strategic Futures" presented by David Zach

Whether you’re an owner, a free agent, a manager or just somebody who likes to think a lot about the future, you need to pay attention to both the bottom line and the horizon. With a focus on the practical and the possible, this is a down-to-earth look at key strategic trends: from the rise of intelligent money to the fall of national borders, from virtual workplaces to virtually unlimited information, and even from the automation of healthcare to the automation of things you’ve never believed possible.

GENERAL SESSION 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

"NCUA Update" presented by Gigi Hyland

Board Member Hyland will cover several issues of interest to credit unions that are current priorities for the NCUA. She will discuss some key exam issues, such as third party due diligence and strategic planning, as well as the elimination of the CAMEL matrix and audits of uninsured shares. In addition, Hyland will explain the findings and recommendations of the Outreach Task Force, as well as how the NCUA Board may proceed on these recommendations. Finally, she will reserve time for discussion on any topics of interest to attendees.
