Come celebrate this year’s 50th Annual Meeting and Convention as the 1950’s are brought back to life. Fire up your hot rod, grab your hula hoops and return to the days of greasers, cool kittens, malt shops, Lucy and Desi, Elvis and beatniks in Fiftiesville.
Cruise through the exhibit hall on Wednesday evening and enjoy rockin’ music through the juke box, milk shakes and nifty diner fare. It will be crazy, Daddy-O! The joint will be jumpin’ with vendors offering the latest in products and services to take back to your pad.
This year two different education tracks will be offered: Executive (CEO’s and volunteers) and Manager. Each track will have specific education topics that pertain to those cool cats. You’ll go ape over Patrick Adams’ keynote presentation, “Moving Ideas to Action”.
What’s buzzin’ cuzzin’? Admire some classic chariots in the north parking lot on Thursday afternoon during the Car Show; there might even be a rag top or two! Thursday night you’ll want to make the sock hop scene in poodle skirts, leather jackets and your blue suede shoes for the Silver Star Gala. Rock the night away with the headliner entertainment the Pink Flamingos! Join the CUANM Bandstand in 50’s attire, but only something the Beaver’s Mom would approve. So be there or be square!
Convention Registration Deadline: Monday, May 4, 2009 |
