FACTA 312 Webinar Series

$199 Each

Both for $350 (Webinar Only)

March 02, 2010 - 12:00 to 2:00 MST p.m.

Part 1 (Overview) – Section 312 of the FACT Act has been approved with a compliance date of July, 1, 2010! Part 1 of a 2 part series, this webinar program provides an overview of the “reasonable procedures” which examiners should expect to be in place to meet both current FCRA and upcoming FACTA 312 audit requirements. Exploring the “what” and the “why,” this program discusses the events that sparked the new regulation, new requirements of FACTA 312 and introduces, from a day to day operational standpoint, the types of data audit and testing techniques that are required by both FCRA and FACTA 312 and why.

Part 1 explores the “what” and the “why” of the new FACTA 312 regulation.
Rather than regurgitating regulatory text, this training explores day-to-day practical application, as well as the financial and regulatory benefits and risks resulting from specific Credit Bureau Reporting issues.

March 09, 2010 - 12:00 to 2:15 MST p.m.

Part 2 – July 1, 2010 is closer than you think. Don’t wait to get your FACTA 312 program in place! Part 2 of a 2 part series, this program explores the “how” and delves much deeper into the tools presented in the Part 1 overview program. Part 2 provides a step-by-step “how to” guide for developing your mandatory FCRA and FACTA 312 compliance program. Obtain detailed strategies that are designed to meet “reasonable procedures” and examiner expectations for evaluating the accuracy and integrity of the information your institution is placing on consumers’ credit bureau files.

Benefit from the instructor’s hands-on experience managing credit bureau reporting programs at one of the country’s largest financial institutions and walk away with detailed practical strategies for the compliance evaluations required to test and monitor the accuracy of your credit reporting.
