“A more secure future” for business and society is at stake, according to some of the world’s top information technology security experts.  Extraordinary changes in the way we do business and lead our lives in the ever-connected world of the future will create tremendous security challenges.  Today, we make sure that the doors of our houses are securely locked and we often use security services to protect our physical selves and our possessions.  With all the security issues facing Credit Unions today, it is sometimes possible to lose sight of the big picture of how security should be addressed.  This session  will identify the top ten security issues as an informal guide for your Credit Union, giving you a point of departure for information security planning.

Speaker:  Kelvin Walker is a senior manager and specialist in the performance and management of Information Technology Assessment and Control (General and Automated Application) audits and assessments for the financial institutions.  Walker has more than 16 years of information technology experience, with the last ten years focused on providing information security and audit services middle market clients.  He has conducted various internal control reviews and audits, SAS 70 audits, and worked with PCAOB to evaluate various internal control and Sarbanes-Oxley audits.
