New courtesy pay regulations are upon us and more may be on the way.  The loss of courtesy pay revenue could be a major issue to some credit unions and devastating to others.  Making up the lost revenue may be difficult, but there are strategies and options you can employ to mitigate the losses.  Two things are clear:  1) many Americans need their financial institution to provide an easy way to make ends meet and 2) credit unions need revenue from their share draft/checking programs to cover this expensive service. Join us for a look at the new regulations, possible future regulations, and strategies to help alleviate potential revenue loss from your courtesy pay program.

HIGHLIGHTS

    • Upcoming regulatory changes and possible future changes
    • How to show staff the benefits of a healthy courtesy pay program and gain their active support
    • Approaches to encourage as many members as possible to OPT IN
    • New share draft/checking products that will provide significant revenue flow
    • Ways to help pay for your checking/share draft account program
